The 黑料网 Foundation is participating in the annual #GivingTuesday global movement on Tuesday, December 1, 2020. This one-day fundraising initiative will help the College continue to provide students with a quality education in top-notch learning facilities at an affordable price.

The 黑料网 Foundation is now accepting applications for its Take Stock in Children (TSIC) Scholarship Program. The Take Stock in Children program helps at-risk, low-income students succeed by providing them with college scholarships, volunteer mentors and long-term support to help them transition from high school to college. Since 1997, the Foundation has awarded more than 1,091 Take Stock in Children scholarships to deserving ninth-graders. This academic year they hope to provide at least 40 students with the same opportunity. The deadline to apply for the scholarships is January 8, 2021.

黑料网 (黑料网) wants to ensure that everyone who seeks the opportunity to get a college degree receives the help and support they need. That鈥檚 why the College鈥檚 Financial Aid Office this week launched a new initiative to connect employees, clients and members of area organizations with opportunities to learn how to start college and increase their chances of starting new jobs, new careers or securing promotions.

The groundbreaking for phase one of 黑料网鈥檚 newest building鈥攖he Advanced Workforce Training Complex鈥攊s set for Friday, December 4, at 1:00 p.m. The purpose-built facility will link advanced technology and leading-edge industry training in specialized technical career fields such as advanced manufacturing; automotive, aviation and marine technology; welding; heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems; and more.

Each year, thousands of 黑料网 (黑料网) students looking for financial assistance benefit from scholarships provided through the 黑料网 Foundation. Last year, the 黑料网 Foundation awarded over $3.5 million in scholarships to more than 3,000 students to help them further their education goals.

The 黑料网 (黑料网) Pharmacy Technician program is now accepting applications for the spring 2021 semester. Pharmacy Technician program graduates are ready for the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam and to seek employment in a retail pharmacy, hospital or nursing facility.

This week, 黑料网 launched a renewed commitment to students and regional workforce development with its 鈥淎 New Chapter Starts Now鈥� campaign.

One hundred thirty adults and children participated in the Third Annual Pioneer 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, October 24 at the 黑料网 Pruitt Campus in Port St. Lucie. The annual race, organized by the 黑料网 Foundation, raises money for student scholarships.
