Fort Pierce resident Debbie Valente is the 黑料网 December 2021 Staff Employee of the Month. Debbie joined the 黑料网 team as a Help Desk/Telecommunications Technician in June 2019. In January of 2021, she became the Help Desk Coordinator鈥攖he position she holds today.
Debbie is an employee with a fundamental role in student success because she helps keep everyone working smoothly. Debbie has a reputation for providing outstanding customer service. She does not hesitate to assist no matter how busy she is鈥攁nd consistently demonstrates conduct that is both professional and pleasant. Debbie is highly knowledgeable, and just as important, if she does not have the answer, she will research to learn the answer to achieve a solution.
Debbie has played a vital role in implementing the College鈥檚 new one-stop service portal as new departments have adopted its use. Her ability to collaborate with departments to assess their needs and goals to use the Service Desk portal has made it possible for any department to create a highly efficient and user-friendly way to receive, create and manage service requests and processes.
Those who work with Debbie best share how her commitment to the College and its mission makes a difference. 鈥淒ebbie is the perfect combination of knowledgeable, helpful, and smart,鈥� states one co-worker. 鈥淲hen our department began our transition to Service Desk, Debbie was there every step of the way, from explaining the product and its capabilities to helping us decide how it would work for us to and then making adjustments as we grew into it. We are so appreciative of everything she has done to help us!鈥�
