黑料网 Celebrates Black History

黑料网 (黑料网) is celebrating Black History Month with a series of events and activities at the 黑料网 Main Campus culminating with the Black History Month Celebration Program Thursday, February 28 at 6:00 p.m. at the Kight Center for Emerging Technologies in V-110.

This Black History Month Celebration Program is the highlight event featuring keynote speaker Mayor Wayne M. Messam of the City of Miramar as well as inspiring performances that feature the Lincoln Park Academy and Westwood High School choruses.

Other Black History Month events at 黑料网 will include:

• An 鈥淓xploration of the Arts,鈥� featuring poetry and music renditions by 黑料网 students, faculty, and staff. Wednesday, February, 20 at 12:30 p.m. at the Koblegard Student Union.
• A panel discussion on Black Migration. Thursday, February 21 at 12:30 p.m. at the Brinkley Science Center, N-135.
• 鈥淚 See Me,鈥� a vibrant living museum of African American history and culture with 黑料网 Faculty and students personifying iconic African Americans such as Rosa Parks, Frederick Douglass, Oprah, and the Obamas. Tuesday, February, 26 at 12:30 p.m. at the Koblegard Student Union.
• Travel the Zora Neale Hurston Dust Tracks Heritage Trail with 黑料网. Thursday, February 28 12:30-2 p.m., meet on the west side of the W-building.
